A Citroen Saxo VTS. The only other contender is a E46 BMW M3. Everything else is too heavy, too slow, too wide, or not grippy enough on the surface.

Oh, we have a few bikes that would do it and a couple of diesels could fill the factory but where is the fun in that!

The M3 you say? ... but could you get it straight off the line without wasting space or drifting into the pallets? and how about stopping... faster than a tiny lightweight saxo?! Stopping is important as well

i'd love to be the HSE examiner who ends up investigating the aftermath! personally don't think you can do it and stop in either of those cars. grip off the line and stopping on that surface will be a nightmare.

there used to be similar hijinks here - unofficial lap record of works roads and a top speed challenge between 2 speedhumps. some guy got 130mph out of his m3 evo [its private roads so nerr] but one of the apprentices in a barry'd saxo ended up rolling his car and suddenly speedbumps and cctv appeared to end it.

10ft would be easy (it's about 5'9" wide). Slippery start, as has been mentioned, could be a problem.

I'll need to measure the distance from the bottom of my work's road to the entrance - that's about the same kind of length, and I know I can get to 60 and stop for the entrance.

Nar, you'd have to heat the fronts first, not just the rears.

That said with one of these babies you'll hit 60 fast enough to give you more room to pull to a stop than almost anything else would leave you.

That's nowhere near long enough to reach 60mph those cars, let alone stop as well.
