i know this car has been discussed at length in previous threads but seeing as some important paperwork arrived this morning i thought i'd start it up again if anyones interested.
i'll go into more detail if you want but just by adding up the extras to get the car as featured in the magazines (& to how i would want it) & it comes to.......
£46921.53
this does not include a roll cage which i had enquired about.

if anyone wants to know more just post up & i'll brake it down, some may be more than interested in the warrenty exclusions that need to be signed before purchase.

oh & before you say how crazy the price is i'm trying to justify things in this way:
911 gt3 rs = 111000
mugen type r = 47000
maybe not not half the car but it is less than half the price!

wouldn't it be cheaper to buy a double page advertisement feature in Civics Monthly instead?

edit-
"but just by adding up the extras to get the car as featured in the magazines "

I missed the "as".

Totally crazy. I can think of so so so many better ways to spend that kind of money on cars.

Its not even funny TBH.

Thats 2nd hand M5 or RS4 money - or actually nearly Nissan GTR territory....for a civic?

Not worth it IMHO no matter whats been done to it.

Not a kick in the arse off 50g's for a Honda Civic. Absurd!

That's crazy. Surely even the diehard Honda fans can see that?

Is it really any better than the Focus, Megane etc?

That would near enough buy my 996 and my Tuscan. If you just want a track car then it's not far of a 996 GT3 RS, let alone a well spec'd standard GT3.

But each to their own...you have bigger balls and / or more money than me though!

Wow! Good on you fella.

If you can afford it why not?

You won't see many on the road and what a machine!

If it's what you want, go for it.
Christ, if logic came into it we'd all be driving Kia Picantos and be suicidal...!
It's not my cup of tea (the R26R is though...) but if it's yours, go for it! thumbup

I reckon I'd rather have one of these. But if you want it, why not. It's certainly pretty exclusive.
