Bloody gear nob is fffrreeezzziinnggg! Its a chunk of metal and it is ridiculously cold, having to shift with finger tips only...... I have even tried blowing hot air on it, but to no avail.... i might HAVE to get a glove for my left hand..... wink

Anyone else having similar issues?

My Uncle had a little leather hood made for the gear lever in his Chimaera, but for the opposite reason. It got so hot it was unbearable to touch.

I also subscribe to the BRM forum. A very kind member (smile) has knitted some of us some 'knob-warmers' in BRM Green with an orange stripe. Started off as a bit of silliness, but it's amazing what a difference it makes in the cold! smile

An ipod sock should provide an instant cure. Available in a variety of colours. Try pink...
