Best GT car ever?

You're about to drive around the world, and you can do it in any GT car you like. Imagining that the roads are nothing but smooth, which would be best suited to the job? Maserati GT? M6? Even BMWs new 5 Series GT?



Obviously needs to be comfy, quick and reliable. What'd you chose?

Yes but just look at it, i dont know weather to stare at it whilst trying to control my lower regions, or lick it and let the ensuing pants explosion commence

I'm fascinated by the new 5 Series GT, they all come equipped with an 8, yes EIGHT gear auto tranny, pointless but awesome at the same time. I'm getting to really like it, despite the awful back end!

You probably can't beat a Panamera Turbo as a GT, but the looks mean you probably wouldn't.

I'd take a 599 GTB if it had to be new, or a 928GTS if it didn't.

An SL55 would probably be the ultimate for me!
Others of interest - Gransport or DBS.

The car I've driven that most fits my definition of a 'GT' is the latest incarnation of the Jag XKR. I've never driven a car which so seemlessly fuses blistering performance with glorious refinement. Everything else is to slow or too unrefined.
