This is mental. When would your instincts tell you to try and jump out?

Jumping out could have turned a gentle shunt into a tragedy. Driver could easily have gone under.

How stupid can you get....?

"The car hit the hedge on the right, the front of a new Merc behind the hedge then hit the wall. The guy who jumped out was crushed against the silver car on the left by his own car. Cracked rib(s), injured neck, arm etc. Ripped his jacket arm to shreds."

Well I haven't seen that before ......... thanks OP.
I'm laughing 10 minutes later ........... total dorks to get out and just leave the car to itself. Mind you, once the idiot driver went and the front brake unlocked, it may well have steered again. Now, I'm ready for a top up ..... beer

Did the original video get hosted anywhere before it was taken down? Would be good to see that! I cant see at what point getting out the car seemd like a better alternative!

They apparently did not take any notice of neighbours advice to stay at home - FAIL!

I would think when the car is skidding and having a mind of its own, the first thing they thought to do was jump ship, not a nice thing to happen.

Then seeing your flaw on the net must be a red faced moment?
