Why does PH hate personalised number plates?
Discussion
I've got a modestly priced one (UF02DAN) and don't see what harm it does? Most people I know have had a chuckle at it for various reasons but I've never heard anybody make a negative comment about havin it in the first place.
In fact, I'm probably going to stick it on the C1 for irony value.

Because if you want something written in the back of your car you could just go to a graphics shop and get anything you want printed for about £5 instead of a tacky mispelling that costs £250-£230k
Also whats the point of an 'ageless' plate except for sheer vanity BS keeping up with the Jones puroposes.
It's a government issued ID for a car, you wouldn't get a personalised post code or NI Number would you?

Mine is not mis-spaced or a mis-spelling and it's a standard format plate that will only make newer cars look older than they are. Also whats the point of an 'ageless' plate except for sheer vanity BS keeping up with the Jones puroposes.

What is wrong with me spending the money I have worked for on something that I can keep from vehicle to vehicle for as long as I wish?
The vanity argument against, you could use that from anything from non-standard alloys to metallic paint or even the choice of car in the first place.
