flipped over to coronation street all they had was mondeo estate police cars! (thats a bit harsh actualy because i like the mondeo's!) uh but it was pure chance i saw the evo as i dont really watch the soaps....

Been done before on Eastenders. When the Fiat 500 came out there was one of those on the square.

The now deceased Archie Mitchell also had a lovely Maser. Jack appears to be continually car changing, he had a nice C Class, when the current car was just launched and now appears to be in a Lexus.

Good shout! noticed it myself.

In the real world though, police in London do seem to get a better class of car. Was walking round leicester Square and piccadilly last weekend and couldnt help but notice the amount C & E class Mercs and the odd 5 series all wearing police colours.
Police round my neck of the woods get focus esates and the like!

When he and his brother first arrived on Eastenders it was in a very nice Silver 944 Turbo. Also recall them having a Tuscan in their Garage for repair.
