How many revs on your car at 70-75 mph

Girlfriends Cooper D loves the motorway, its silent at 85mph and achieves 62mpg while doing it. When I drove it on the motorway, I stuck to 55 - 60 mph behind a truck for a bit to see what you could get whilst hypermiling and it crept over 80mpg.

4k at 75mph.. Its not got very good sound deadening either so quite noisy.

Its got short gears though so motorways aren't nice in it.

Nice. Yes in top gear is what I meant. My 3k rpm is in 6th.

Alfa GTV V6 - under 3k revs at 70, in 6th gear, however, I would not describe it as quiet!

0.8 leptons @ 3.15krpm in my cupra with short-ratio 5spd box.

reckon 6spd 20vt or normal 5spd would be a fair bit lower.

Would advise against an S2000 or CTR ... are they not c4500rpm...

About 3200rpm in my 08 plate Smart ForTwo.

[useless fact]The previous ForTwo I had was a 57 plate, 70mph in that was at 3500rpm. Somewhere between late 2007 and early 2008 they changed the 5th gear ratio. [/useless fact]
