PHer and event organiser jaykaybi managed to corral a fantastic collection of metal (and carbonfibre) for the inaugural event last year, but he's clearly not satisfied with the turnout and has tipped us off to look out for some "even rarer and more off-the-wall' machinery.
"It's no good being satisfied with a McLaren F1 GTR, Bugatti Veyron, one-of-a-kind Zonda, Enzo, F50, F40, 288GTO, Murcielago SV, Diablo GT, Mosler, Carrera GT, McMerc SLR 722, and I've got every intention of raising the bar," he says. "Cars expected? Well, let's just say that I'm already expecting to top 2009's event and Lord Pembroke's Veyron will naturally be back, but what would PHers like to see?"
It will cost £10 a head to see the supercars, but there will be more to see and do - including a 'Loudest Supercar' contest just after lunch. Can't wait!

As in 2009, the Supercars at Wilton House is being organised in aid of the Stars Appeal Caring For Kids Campaign, raising funds for new facilities at Salisbury District Hospital.
As part of the appeal, local radio station Spire FM is running an online auction with lots that include a passenger ride in a Bugatti Veyron. Some of the other lots on offer look pretty good too, so click here to find out more
Hi all, it’s taken bloody ages to get this put together and it’s a massive weight off my shoulders now that the details have got a full release! Like last year, I’ll pop up from time to time and give a few clues about the cars that’ll be on show but I won’t be releasing a complete list at any point - I wouldn’t want to spoil all the surprises!

BUT*...why are these things ALWAYS in the South?!? With the exception of the very-occasional Sunday Service and once a year Supercar Sunday @ Gaydon (which is starting to be a bit "anything goes"**), is there anything like this at all north of Silverstone??? It does tend to exclude anyone north of B'ham (which is ~3hrs from this or Goodwood, and more from Virginia Waters).
* No offence intended to Jaykaybi.
** Last year the MX5, MR2 and Westfield owners clubs were given sections, a (badly-modded) Ford Cougar was let into the display, and worst of all they let a bunch of NSXs take centre stage for a bit...it's REALLY gone downhill!
