Filling up at the local petrol station today and notice a sign saying car wash closed on Wednesday due to Top Gear being on location doing a little bit of filming.

Asked the guys behind the counter and apparently the chaps plus the Stig are doing a piece and this is one of their planned stop offs.

Shell Petrol Station on the A34 in Stone, Staffordshire if anyone is nearby or interested.

Not another car wash "fire".

Maybe they will change it slightly with a facepalm to camera. Apart from stig of course.

They're back to legitimate robbery now, £1.19 a litre.

Well, using my amazing psychic powers of future divination, I can confidently conclude that it was utter sh*t. It's probably just me (but I'll bet it's not) but I simply can't watch anything with Hammond in it. he is a pastiche of himself being a pastiche of Clarkson with a bit of Donald Sinden and mock sincerity thrown in.

What you said - I can't think of a poorer presenter on TV at the moment.

I don't. Nor Brainiac nor that stupid "It's a Knockout" style boll*x. I live in a Hammondless world since I stopped watching TG.
