Sold an old car - now he wants his money back!

6 months ago i sold a 1977 Italian sports car... The new owner has just demanded his money back!
I will keep this brief....
I bought the car in 1979. I sold it on Ebay 6 months ago where due to the condition it made very (VERY!) good money... the buyer collected it, was very happy with the car, paid the cash and left.
Roll on three months... One of the specialist suppliers I used to use, calls me and says someone has bought my old car and wants to get in touch and can he give the guy my telephone number, No problem says I. It seems the guy who bought it off me had moved it on.
A few days later i take a call off a VERY enthusiastic guy who asked me loads of questions about the car, mainly around the tuning work I had done on the engine. over the next few weeks he asked me loads more questions, he was very pleased with the car. Seems the guy who bought it off me moved it on to him for a couple of grand more.
Today the guy calls me again. He says he took it into a body shop to have the paint tidied up on the sills. The body shop started work but called him to say there was some filler in the sills... To say he was upset was an understatement!
He said he had bought the car on the basis that all the paintwork was original and it clearly wasn't. I never told the guy who bought it that it was...., seems he had told the new owner that it was ALL original!
I explained to the guy that around 10 years ago the sills were a little rusty so i welded a couple of patches on either side and skimmed them with some filler... He then asked me if all the other paintwork was original... I told him that it was on its 3rd respray (it is Italian after all!!)and that it had had 2 new front wings as they went rusty... They were pattern wings, plus due to an accident, the drives door had quite a lot of filler in it.... plus the rear wheel arches also had some repair patches welded in and a skim of filler...
He exploded on the phone! demanded his money back off me! I told him to speak to the guy he bought it off and good luck, its an old Italian car! He the went on to rant that as I had done the work and sold the car without saying it had been resprayed, it was all my fault! he was contacting his solicitor and would see me in court!
I ended up telling him to feck off and don't call me again! some bloody people
