Can anyone in the Brechin area please keep an eye out for a 4 door R33 GT ST Skyline with the most hideous body kit and other tat stuck on.

The seller has stolen my deposit and I would very much like to get it back

This is the eBay advert detailing the spec and giving pictures of the car

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&am...

I won the auction, paid £200 deposit and went to collect. We met in Brechin and the car turned out to be entirely standard except for the awful body bits so we agreed not to conclude and he would refund the PayPal deposit that evening. He has since stopped answering phone calls, texts and e-mails

Report to the police - you have the reg number, they will know where the reg keeper lives.

Auction looks too good to be true though, what a bargain it would have been. Ebay account 0 feedback at the time, may well have known what they were doing...

If your not joking, then nothing for you, hope you get your money back and find the little scrote.

Just that car is kinda infamous on here.

Any links to the posts regarding the car?

Might help me reveal the theif's identity

Just so nobody gets any ideas about my taste - I think the car looks shockingly awful! It was the engine spec that tempted me.

If nobody has seen the rear of the car it has M Power badges and flame stickers

I've been looking for the links and can't find any, more passing mentions to it, don't think anything that could help you out though, sorry mate.

Have you reported to ebay or paypal?

I think you had a lucky escape you just have been high as a mother fkers to buy that..

''Car not as described - he has stolen my deposit. He is a thief and a liar'' julieall ( 1443)

I think he described it very well..

Did you turn up and round out it only had 20 gauges inside instead of the 21 listed..

Oh report it to the police, just say look out for some car that a 12 year old kid has designed..

I opened a dispute through eBay saying that I had not received the item that I had paid for.

His response to the dispute was that he had sent the item by Royal Mail and gave no tracking number.

In the box when I made the payment it said that it was a deposit for Nissan Skyline P319 PLY as per eBay item #blabla

They decided the dispute in his favour. Translation - they think he sent me the car by Royal Mail.

Hey, lack of taste is no excuse for someone to steal your money! :P

how on earth do they reckon he sent the item via royal mail, retards.
Open another dispute, or try and find a contact phone number for ebay in the uk???

Can I just ask why you didn't meet at his house? Always a sign of dodgyness if someone doesn't want to let you see the car where they live. Sorry to hear what happened though

I think this is the greatest line of text I've ever readlaughlaughlaugh

''The car holds the road like glue and drives in a straight line for miles without touching the steeringwheel''

I want it on a t-shirt

Did you pay via credit card (through paypal?)

If so try that avenue, they will come up with some bumpf about paypal being the middle man and thus not accountable, but I have yet to fail in my attempts to convince them otherwise wink.

Persistance!

I'm amazed anyone would look at that car advert and assume the owner would be an ideal seller. Hopefully the lesson has been learned: do not buy anything from a chav scrote. I suggest returning to the scene at 3am with some assistance.
