They did the 2.5T engine with 216bhp until the middle of March this year, but it appears to have been discontinued.

NOw you can get their new 2.0 EcoBoost engine with 200bhp, but seemingly only with an auto gearbox.

a prototype... closest to production reality is a Titanium X Sport I think.

Mines a 2007 tongue out

Didn't know they had dropped the 2.5 but makes sense TBH, sooner the new engines come online the better, a decent 2L turbo in Titanim X Sport guise would be OK, maybe even an ST Ford? (although no V6 frown )

In the history books along with the "Oh my god, 99.9p for a litre of fuel, when's the strike on", and "What the fk's a Hybrid car?" comments...

hehe surely the Mondeo deserves some award for being the car most likely to have it's bumpers taped up when it hits 10yrs old?

It was a pre-production I5 with big wheels and a few styling tweaks.

a receptionist and an IT guy where i work, both had early mk1's and surprise surprise, the gaffa tape was in full swing

i have to assume, by now there was a serious design issue with the bumper mounting points - even pikeys in rusty old transits manage a better job of bumper affixing and rust covering for mot(?!)

Vauxhall will be happy to sell you a 6.2l V8 large saloon. Or have they stopped selling new ones now?
