was on my way back from arnold clark vauxhall after paying the rest of the deposit on my car, with my stepdad driving us home. about 20mins away from my mums house I notice a road maintenence van slighty swerving on the road ahead. I point this out to my stepdad and he stays back. after about 5mins and no swerving my stepdad decides to overtake as he had someone coming up his back and no room to pull in for the car behind. Just as the left front light is cms away from the vans right back light, the fking driver makes a big swerve which resulted in me shouting 'WATCH OUT' (and stamping on my imaginary break pedal) and my stepdad breaking and blasting his horn. Van pulls back over and we go alongside only to find the driver on his fking mobile!!

Needless to say I noted his reg and company name and called the police! Im just greatful my stepdads reactions are good and that I didnt have my daughter in the back!!

Glad you reported it. Round my way in Essex it's full of drivers on phones and they're all cocks who think they're a cut above and clever enough to use a phone and drive on fast/twisty roads.

Yes, I must admit if there's one thing that I find most helpful whilst trying to avoid an errant motorist swerving, it's someone shouting in my ear from the passenger seat at the crucial moment. . . . . . .

couldnt tell you, i gave the company name so they should be able to trace the driver through them. hopefully he'll get a wrap on the knuckles as a warning and not do it again! He could have seriously hurt someone!

P.s Would people stop correcting my spelling, its petty and this is'nt a english grammar website is it??

PistonHeads - Spelling Matters!

Just depends on whether the story was good enough for the spelling police to let it pass. In this case I guess not!

I would like the 10 minutes of my life back that it took to read and digest your poorly constructed and incredibly dull story.
