I was out with my crewmate today at work driving round in the sunshine. I was listening to him telling me all about his 3year old Suzuki Grand Vitara that he has just collected after finally ridding himself of his problematic Freelander.

I was just sat there nodding as he told me about how he was "pimpin it up" with side steps, bullbas etc etc. I thought everyone is allowed to like different things so I wont judge. We then passed a white Mk2 Focus RS. I said "thats a proper car", and he replied "why would anyone spend £25k on one of those, I mean you could get a brand new Vitara for that money".

Then I cried

the focus isnt everyones cup of tea though (neither is a vitara) so he kindo hasa point, as a focus and a vitara kindo appeal to diffrent markets lol!

I don't object to bull bars on a utility vehicle, but the decrease in pedestrian safety on a Vitara is a bit off.

I have bull bars on my vitara but to conteract them I have attached some pillows to the bonnet with velcro.
