Before anyone gets overly excited, can anyone help me find out the article number of when EVO tested the Dauer 962. I can only seem to find pictures of the article but no issue number.

SM, if anyone is, you're the man who can...have you got/know of an article relating to the VW Corrado when it was launched. The author drove it somewhere in Germany and as it was so unknown he deliberately left it parked so as to get a ticket and then examine what the Model was described as on the ticket.
IIRC the car was purple and it had some wheels on it that were non standard. For no other reason than I remember the wheels, do you know what they are?

(this is entirely dependent on you a) knowing what I'm on about and b) caring )

TIA!!

PS don't know the mag, CAR/Perf Car probably.

Georg Kacher article? ( although car was red in that one IIRC ) Should be easy to find as it will be about 88/89. Can't recall it off the top of my head but I'll have a look over the weekend

I think it was, yes, cheers SM

...coincidentally I think the wheels are on the Golf convertible on the "Sexy Classic Convertibles" thread..."Turbo" something or others.. so if you're not inclined to find it, that's cool. Thanks again.
