Was this on Friday? If so, I think I remember you guys - I was next in line after you
Just to back up what you said... absolutely awesome driving, and Tiff seems a really, really genuinely nice guy who's happy to talk to his fans and pose for photographs etc.
Power sliding sideways through the multiple apexes of the Campbell, Cobb, Segrave complex whilst overtaking another car was one highlight.
To give some idea of how hard he was driving - we were there for about 3 hours in total, and during that time the M3 needed two complete tyre changes (that's all four tyres, twice).
I imagine it eats brakes too. With the overheads of running the car and event in mind, I reckon the £125 it costs for 3 flying laps is excellent value for money.
You also get a DVD recording of your laps. A downer on my day is that they gave me someone else's disc
Will try and sort that out Monday morning.
Anyone who has a spare £125 and is within driving distance of Thruxton, I can definitely recommend it. One of those once in a lifetime type of experiences for a petrol head.

Yes, you must try and find your DVD. I did not bother filling out the forms but my brother did and his was such fun to watch over a few beers. A truly memorable day.
Cheers,
