is it just me or when watching T/G, do you wait for an overpriced star in a resonable car bit to come on then, have a flick around the channels, make a cupper, go for a slash etc.

Star in a Pap Car became truly dull when they stopped getting in people who wanted to thrash the arse off the car (Jay Kay, Ellen McArthur etc) and started bringing in whoever had some bks to sell this week. It's become a thinly disguised advert IMHO.

What they should do is change the car again. The Stig could take some of those arses on a bloody Segway. Why not get a half decent hot hatch (Suzuki sport? any other suggestions?) and give some of those d-list celebrity slobs a whole load of squeaky bum moments and as a result give us something to laugh it. Surely that would have to be a bit more entertaining?

I do that but depends on the guest really. Some of them are quite entertaining or good looking so I'll leave it on

Definitely. Especially if its that woman who sailed the boat around the world. I mean, I'm sure shes a nice girl and all that but I have to turn off. Does my head in. So does Stephen Fry actually.

In fact they all do. Why not rename it as member of public in a reasonably priced car who doesn't have a book or file to sell? Then we can all apply.

Always turn over at that point. The worst was some rugby guy who seemed to go for ages.

Yes of course. But the reason for that segment is that it's cheap and so they can spend more on making the rest of the show better.

There have been some good ones though - Kevin McCloud being one of the best examples yes
