Hi All. Just ran over a screw and by sum form of fate it was the same size of screw and tyre i popped on the last car i had frown (Rear Passenger) to make things worse, the screwhead snapped when i turned and made it worse. slow puncture i recon. its pitch black outside and its bloody freezing to change the alloy to the "slightly embarrasing" slim jim frown so no cruisage for me tonight. and no garages are open on a sunday frown luckily it was 2 streets away from my house this happened so i got car home. Pi55 boilingly annoying i must say......
anyone else had this happen recently? or ran over something worse and damaged their tyres?

Yes, I've had a puncture.

It wasn't quite the mortal tragedy it appears to be to you though.

I was trying to power away from some tailing cozzers recently when the bds radioed ahead and had their colleagues lay down a stinger.

i managed to run over a brick (it was hidden in a dip in the road which i totally missed), managed to put a massive hole going through the alloy, and also messed up my break caliper, also cracked the front splitter/bumper

How did you manage to totally miss the road, yet run over a brick which was hidden in a dip?

Are you on 'shrooms ?

the dip was in the road, on a slight bend which i slightly cut on a b road (and able to see oncoming traffic etc)

£120 for 1 tyre

The first bike I bought and very much looking to collecting it. Passed my test and raced to collect it, by the time I got there it was 1630.

I was happy and rode off, 30 meters off the shop front a huge nail pearced the wall. Push the thing back to the shop annoyed to find that service was closing and no tires in stock. Had to wait 1 week to get it back.

Managed to kill 3 new tyres on my Focus. One had a puncture from god knows what. Then I killed the two nearside tyres by running over a large stone in the road on a bend. Popped one instantly and put a huge bulge in the other!

Car fell off the jack changing one of those as well!

I woke up one morning to find a flat rear on my old E46 if that counts.

Caravan wheel on all Sunday and took it to tyre place on the Monday lunchtime who diagnosed a big nail in it.

It wasn't m recent puncture that annoyed me. It was the tyre fitter making a total mess of my alloy on a two month old car!!
