They all want to treat the motorist as a cash cow.

The Tories running Swindon have scrapped scameras - maybe the common sense will soak upwards.

eek

No sane motorist will vote for them then.

But then will the Labour Party do the same?

I would suggest that most of the people indicating they intend to vote for the Lib Dems have absolutely no idea what their Policies are!

I mostly drive on roads that aren't that busy. Fine by me.

Lib Dems = ~40% of the roads budget cut (3bn out of ~8bn) so that they can give that money to rail

Yes, just a whiff of Conservative common sense (and freedom) is such a breath of fresh air in contrast to all the left wing control freakery we've been experiencing. The Lib Dems would be as bad or worse - road pricing (which means spy in the car, constant tracking / surveillance) - bear in mind Labour want to introduce road pricing too, they haven't shelved it for good. Plus, Labour and the Lib Dems want to increase the cost of motoring, the Lib Dems have said they want to raise road tax by a substantial amount. Really, any left wing government will not like personal freedom, so expect it to be taxed highly.

I do.
Not keen on their motoring policies but I spend less than 10% of the day in my car so voting on that alone would be a bit silly.

Wasnt the character Dirk Diggler actually about Jon Holmes in the film Boogie Nights ?
