The car is for my father who's selling his CLS55 AMG as he fancies a convertible for the summer.

I do agree with you, especially if you compare it to the likes of the other cars in that price bracket, so the older 'vettes, XK's etc.

But in its own right its a great car and its much newer (Dare i say more reliable as a daily driver.) But it lacks the grrr manlyness of big V8 'vette or TVR.

Not necessarily, I use mine as a daily driver - currently doing 2000 miles a month
