Has anyone signed up with a company called Motoring First before?

Their advertisement appeared in my inbox this morning offering to; "Protect your driving licence from points, fines & bans" for a yearly fee of £29.99.

They also say:

"From having fast access to expert motoring legal advice to being defended by top traffic offence lawyers who'll protect your licence against minor motoring allegations; we make all this and more affordable to virtually all drivers."

Tempted to sign up although want to know first if anyone here uses them?

Website says: 'you’re less likely to get points and fines on your licence.' with their legal team and the insurance cover premium.

So they are not guaranteeing you won't get points.

Waste of money IMHO, just watch your speed.

I think if it actually worked it'd be quite good value, but even the very best motoring lawyers offer no guarantee. Can't say I've ever needed one yet though, I just keep my eyes peeled for any yellow boxes and stay within about 10% of the limit if there are police cars about.
