Only a minor rant here, so you can mark it out of five, but OH MY GOODNESS HOW HARD CAN IT BE TO EMPLOY A FEW MORE PEOPLE ON THE PHONES? mad

They sent me a letter requesting my MG Owners Club membership number in order to validate my policy, and I have tried calling them in my lunch breaks and after college all this week, only to be put on hold for AT LEAST 25 minutes each time. This afternoon I tried calling them again to raise my mileage limit (yep, giving them more money!) and I gave up after 30 minutes of Vivaldi's sodding Four Seasons.

ARGH! shoot

I hate call holding - 25 mins? You have far too much patience, I tend to slam phone down after a good 5 mins! And I'm not talking about Footman James here.

Try calling at different times perhaps.

Disagree. I insured my 355 with them recently and the service was exemplary.

Don't get me wrong, once you finally get through to them they're fantastic.

Maybe they've got technical problems with the phones.

I doubt them, they wouldn't pay out on a fire in my Dad's Jensen as it was down to 'old wiring'. rolleyesmad

This car is tax exempt, what do they expect, a new loom every 5 years? tts

Just sat on hold for another 22 minutes only to be told that I wasn't allowed to put another car on my policy?! I'm only after an E30 316 Touring for lugging my drums around in! Grrrrr.

Why not? I have four on my policy and I'm about to add a fifth. If it's a multi-vehicle classic policy then 'classics' (over 15 years old I think) must outnumber moderns.

I've only ever had superb service from Footman James.
