Punctures and Potholes.....
Discussion
Staring out of my home office window from time to time over the last few weeks i have noticed a very high number of cars rolling by with their space saver tyres fitted. Equally, I've also noticed this strange phenomenon whilst out and about.
I'm not saying there's a connection
but could it have something to do with the state of our much potholed highways and byways??
Has anyone noticed the same thing while out and about, or do i just have too much time on my hands??

I have to say it's a whole mix of different cars, not just those with very low profile tyres.
Also, it's not neccessarily the owner that denotes what tyres are used but more the manufacturer. I run 245/40/18's on the Jag, that's what it came with and we've gone through 3 tyres in the last few months due to punctures and sidewall cuts from potholes.
It's getting to be an expensive business
