I've been thinking, what car is available in the most body types, biggest range of engine etc etc.

So far I think its E46 BMW 3 series, available as 2 door coupe, 2 door convertable, 3 door hatchback, 4 door saloon, 5 door estate, and ranges from a 1.6 to a 3.2 petrol then a range of diesels.

anyone car to improve on that?
But that's just a name nthe fact the 3 Series coupe is made to look like a 3 Series doesn't actually mean it's the same car.

Sure they may have similar engines. But so does a MINI and a Peugeot 207.

To keep with the theme I Suspect a Land Rover Defender may be hard to beat, although limited engine line up. But van, pick up, soft top, double cab, SUV. Short and long wheel bases, even longer wheelbase (130) and a whole department for making custom setups, teleporters, cranes, tippers, 6x6's and so on.

ok but what i meant was what car name is put on the widest variety of cars. as i said, the 3 series is available in all of those type, and whilst the engine in a mini and a 207 may be similar they are obviously different cars.
