Fuel Prices over next 12-24months

What sort of price do people think petrol prices will hit over the next 12/24 months then?

It's only going to go one way.

If the pound weakens any further £2 a litre isn't too hard to imagine, and that's without any extra VAT or duty rises which are almost a certainty.

I log my fuel fill ups so I know how much ive spend on fuel.

When I had my '06 Mondeo ST TDCi, these were the prices.

07 July 2008, diesel was 131.9 pence per litre.
03 January 2009, diesel was 94.9 pence per litre.

Over the next year, who knows. Up most likely.

Depends on who win's the election, If the Lib Dems or Labour win, then up. Cons, I'd be inclined to say down for a while before they creep back up.

Up unfortunately. 150p a litre by summer easily.

I'll be telling my grandchildren about the days of 1 litre for 99p (boring them silly, mind)

I'm now paying the same money for a litre what I was paying for a gallon when I started driving
