I went out a purchased myself a mint Astravan on Saturday paying a handsome sum of £975. Now being with Admiral I thought I could chuck it on the multicar policy with the daily run-around ...... but no, apparently they don’t do that with a car and a van! - Useless! frown

Some one out there must be in the same situation – I’m thinking of having to get a new policy altogether, and have heard on the grape vine that you can only use your NCB on one policy. The annoying thing is that the car only has 1.5months left to run until Im up to 6 years and I need a period where they are both insured until I sell the car in about a month’s time.

Any ideas are welcome! FYI the van is not for business use and will only be for pleasure, not commuting haling stuff etc.

Cheers

E van do monthly van policies

I used to run my car/van policies seperate and had the cars on admiral multicar, but as I'm regularly driving different cars whilst fixing them, I put my van and cheap cars on a traders policy with my good car on it's own.

Worked out cheaper for me all round

Provided your over 25, claim free and only have 1 or 2 minor convictions eg SP30, we should be able to mirror the bonus off your car policy. Give one of the guys a call tomorrow - www.VanCompare.com - 0800 035 7111. Note mirrored bonus has to be done on the phone though.
