I find I can't overtake the cabbage munchers at anything other than full throttle. As soon as I see one I get the red mist & feel its my duty to offset their deluded carbon 'savings', in fact, if I nudge the rev limiter I can get flames out of the exhaust. Hopefully it makes them angry.

Upside down on the roof. Whilst masturbating. They really hate that.

I only ever overtake if I want to go faster than the car in front. It matters not what sort of car it is, I'm not 17.

Bore off.

I overtook a few cars in Richmond park today, and I made sure I sped past a prius down the hill at about 40 biggrin

A safe overtake is completed with a minimal amount of time exposed to danger ..... Always pass a prius in the highest part of the power curve wink

Most Prius drivers don't give a st about the environment, they are just incredibly mean and are willing to put up with driving a Prius for the tax it saves them, so don't be mean, they are already punishing themselves with every mile they drive! hehe

Unless you are under the age of 20, it makes you a bit sad in my opinion...

I only ever seem to see Priuses (Pri'ii?) on the motorway doing 85+, which makes me giggle. Why have such a ste car, then ruin the only good thing it's got going for it by munting up and down at mpg unfriendly speeds?

So I guess you could say I don't overtake them frown

+1 - except they're usually doing over 100mph when I encounter them. I reckon a good element of this is reps who have been forced into the godforsaken things making sure they make them as nonenvironmentally-friendly as possible!

Couple of days ago I was behind a silver prius driven by a complete and utter fking knob, you could of jogged passed it.

Two mile stretch @ the national speed limit he decided to drive at 32mph and create a convoy of about 50 cars. Too many cars coming the other way to be able to pass. WTF, when we got to the 30mph urban area he decided to cut his speed to 12 mph.

I had the occasion to overtake one today. Being in the Mini it required 5500k revs in 3rd gear to get past. They were on the brakes before I was over the white line. They also gave me the old flash of the lights as I pulled back onto the right side of the road. All this on the straigtest quietest road for miles. I think in future Im just gonna sit behind them at a safe distance. Waiting for them to pull over and let me past if the road gets a bit twisty.

I dream of a society where people actually do that.

there is only one way to overtake a prius
select the appropriate gear and whilst side by side it is imperative that you hit the limiter and finally for good measure cut the fker up in the hope he will put the car into the nearest ditch
by doing this hopefully we can rid this country of prius's and their evilness

The latest one has quite a pokey motor - cracks on at an excellent pace and does great mpg. What's not to like? wink
