Bonnet needs a complete respray..bird poo!!!
Discussion
Hi,
It seems a bird poo had been left to fester on the bonnet of my car before i became the owner. I have had a guy look at it who details car. He has pretty much stated that there is no way to mask it..
He quoted me £300 to respray the bonnet! f
kin hell!
I admit its a long bonnet (Z4), but come on...
Anyone know a painter/outfit in Wolverhmapton or West Mids who may be able to help me out?
Birds...just shoot em all..

That sounds seriously expensive. Most bird lime can be well masked with a decent rotary polisher, if not erased all together.
I would look at other decent detailers before respraying.
Hi, I had this guy rotary my whole car. He sorted everything out apart from the bonnet. He works for BMW, Audi and independent garages. He does all the cars for my Brother in Laws garage...I would look at other decent detailers before respraying.
edit: It has clearly etched through the clear-coat also. Before i bought the car, i was told it had been left standing a few years..

It can't be THAT bad, we use smart repairs at work who manage to fix proper down-to-the-metal scratches, its only a poop mark.
Although, if I was in your position I'd probably just leave it. What car is it?

Have to take the missus to Rome this weekend for her bday, so I'll probably be broke!!!!!!!
