The R8 gets the full power of the Lamborghini V10, standard r-tronic and cermaic brakes, optional race pack with rollcage, harnesses, fire extinguisher and kill switch. Been on a diet as well to the tune of 100kg.

clicky

£150,000 ouch

and dare i say it? It looks very 'aftermarket' to me. My wedge is firmly in the GT3RS for this one.

I think my wedge might go to the McLaren MP4-12C, 200kg lighter, 50hp more powerful.

Sadly, an R8 is just far too close to a TT look to me. £150k = F430 and spare change.

Still think i'd have the audi though,
Or maybe two cars for less than that would be better!

I'd hold out for the W12 R8.

I assume the leftover change will be used to buy Rennies? hehe

Agreed^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I would happily pay 140-150 for one. It will be much rarer than any of the alternatives so worth the money in my book. Also with the weight saving the balance should be the same as the v8 which had such huge praise heaped on it only it will have a huge amount more power.

Hmmm, I suppose you could make some sort of TVR-esque straight through liposuction pipe on yourself with that money...

Me too - more power, higher spec, less weight.

Expensive though.

Not that expensive really...

V10 coupe no options specced is roughly 110k iirc spec one up decently you are looking at 120-130. This is an audi superleggera and yet the leg costs another 50k above i believe (could be lower no expert).

I personally like the slightly different take that the R8, and the Veyron took to styling. The Zonda/Koenigzeggeaageggegzgege etc, were all very lovely motors, but a bit wedgy, and wedgy has been done. I like the designs they did. Subtle, but bonkers.

Normally i bemoan those who use the new/old comparisons.

But that is a very good point. I'd have the Scud any day.
