"Sorry About The Dent"

Went downstairs for breakfast earlier to be told "oh, we found a note on your car". Yep, someone had dented the front wing of the MGB, the side facing the pavement. How the hell do you manage that?

Anyway, it's only a small dent and luckily above the wheelarch so it shouldn't be too hard at all to hammer out. I was given a mobile number to call and exchange insurance details, but I don't want to make them pay for something that would take five minutes to bash out with a hammer. Does this seem fair?
They did say "Nice car by the way", as well as three kisses at the end, so its either a woman or I've caught a ghey.

IMO, get adent man to do it. Our man "dent eddie" can fix pretty much anything thats not creased for about 30 quid. Would be a shame to do a bad job and have to paint it =)
