Where do i go from here!
Discussion
Ladies and gents I have a puzzler...
I've always enjoyed what I would class as fast cars, my latest of which is 04 996, which I am very happy with, having owned it for a year or so.
There are a set of circumstances fast approaching me that mean it is likely I'm going to have to sell my beloved for something more practical and cheaper to run, certainly with four doors.
Having reviewed my options I'm rapidly becoming apathetic to cars, as converging on buying whatever the cheapest diesel is I can get my hands on. It appears my desire for a nice car can't be accomodated in the following criteria:-
4 doors
Under £20K
Reliable or cheap to fix
Hopefully, although I've not seen it yet, nice to look at and drive.
Depreciation is also something I have issue with especially having Porsche which is really good on this front.
Any ideas PLEEEASSSSSE!
yours Crushed.

I'm guessing you bought it for a very good price if you think the depreciation on a 04 996 is good? Unless I'm very much mistaken the arse has fallen out of 996 values.
assuming you have space for 2 cars of course ... these two total 20k and they have both done the brutal bit of the depreciation.

It doesn't have to either of those particular examples, just giving you an idea.

To be fair fella, in this sentence you were effectively implying that a given person will die in a motorcycle accident as soon as they conceive a child (or to be even more pedantic, that the bike itself will kill him
)...I'd say Rawwr's response was remarkably restrained.

Ignoring all of that except having 4 doors.
Lancia Thema 8.32 and spend the other 15k fixing all the stuff that will break.
V8 Ferrari engine in a 4 door family saloon, whats not to like.
FWD and only 215bhp?Lancia Thema 8.32 and spend the other 15k fixing all the stuff that will break.

For £20k you could get a much newer, quicker, cheaper to maintain and economical family saloon car.
