Inside Out documentary looking for help
Discussion
Documentary show 'Inside Out' are appealing for PHers to help them record a programme about undercover police cars for the next series.
If you have been caught by an undercover car in the Kent or Sussex area, they would like you to get in touch. You will need to be happy to appear on camera and will be asked a few questions about the matter (are undercover cars fair, is it a proper use of tax payers money etc)
If interested, please e-mail keirmackenzie@hotmail.com
PH has no part in this documentary, other than to put this call out on their behalf.

well ive been "pulled" twice in kent but only by marked plod iirc so dont count however will state that kent police rock
They have an awesome approach to raods policing which all uk forces should adopt but wont as it wont make em enough money and they may actually have to do some work.
ETA: I havent been caught by undercover plod as they are easy enough to spot if you know what you are looking for and know how to drive.

Much as I'd rather not get in trouble. I don't see Undercover cars as anything other than an occupational hazard. I would hope most of PH are of the same opinion. But I suspect the TV makers will want someone to say how they are unjust and should be banned and illegal and all sorts.
Of course with modern editing techniques they can make you say that whether you beleive it or not.

Hmmm, bit of weirdness in that post. You were pulled twice by marked plod yet denegrate individuals for being pulled by unmarked?!

In my defence, cough, it was 3am, a black 3 series, and I cruised on by him none the wiser, trussed up in my waterproof gear freezing my arse off on the way to Le Mans!

He pulled me and gave me stern talking to. Second time was similar situation joining motorway saw silhouette in rearview mirror of 4x4 at night in non reflective rearview mirror. Didnt know my local boys had 4x4's so shot off to yet again ban territory and then pulled in for fuel and he pulled in next to me and we had a "little chat".
However on many occasions i have spotted inmarked waaaay before they spot me. Only once or twice have they managed to pull the wool over my eys to the point where i have been about to go past at mach 2 when spotting them.
Think i surprised some of cambridgeshires plod a week or two back when i saw them coming up behind me in unmarked trying to make quick but non b+t progress on 60mph two way carriageway. As they got near the back of my car i indicated right and pulled right whilst braking very gently to give them space to nip past and get in to a gap in front of me which got me a little wave in the mirror from each as they went past.
tend to do this with bikes when on motorway if they are filtering as well. As they approach the back of my car if there is a car next to me i indicate to my right if in lane 3 and move over to central reservation so they know i am aware they are going through.
The giveaway was the driving "attitude" where the lead unmarked 5 series moved over to the oncoming lane completely to check road ahead and staying there till he saw oncoming at which point moving back into normal lane and as he appraoched i could see two blobs (lights) on each corner of the bumper.
