Practical performance cars

Thankfully they do exist.
Last Friday I arrange to pick up and collect a replacement Land Rover bonnet for my current Landy project on Sunday.
Sadly I made 2 mistakes:
1. was the replacement bonnet was in Nottinghamshire and not Northhampton as I thought it was.
2. and rather more importantly the vehicle I was going to use to collect the bonnet suddenly become not available.
So as Sunday rolled closer I decided to chance my arm and me and my partner piled into the Camaro and headed North for a 100 mile+ jaunt there and back.
Fortunately with the seats down the Camaro proved that Pony Cars truly are created greater than the sum of their parts.
The bonnet fitted in with ease and room to spare.

The car performed faultlessly and also returned 24/5mpg
I'm just very glad I didn't try it in the Roadster however........
Cheers.
