Sometimes, there is a police car when you want one
Discussion
Oh it was beautiful.
Streetview image Hopefully the linky works.
I was turning right from the road on the right, in the same manner as the silver car and 4x4 thing.
As I approached the junction on the left (red car), an older lady in some small green thing started to pull out to turn right , at that point it was ill-advised - I was going to need to brake to pass behind her, which I did, but then she suddenly noticed me and slammed on her anchors stopping completely blocking the road
I stopped fairly abruptly (didn't trigger the ABS) say less about a car length away from her whilst she fumbled around for a few seconds before looking at the gear lever and then rather than completing her move into the central refuge, she reversed back where she had just pulled out from, seemingly without looking back. Luckily there wasn't another car behind her.
If you think of the google earth camera car to be a police 4x4 you'll see they had a great view of proceedings.
As I watched in the mirror, they pulled into the refuge as if turning right, waited for her to pass then turned to follow her.
I can't help but wonder how the conversation went?
