Are goodmans and sony ISO connectors the same?

Hi all. I have bought an old landy for using off road, and I picked up a stereo from a colleague who wrote-off her '5 recently.

Anyway, I have two connectors in the Landy, and the standard "modern" fit in the stereo. I popped into halfords today and looked at the cable I need, I think it's right based on viewing the connectors, anyway, this is the one, notice it says sony on the info:-

Well, I'm reluctant to pay £30 for a cable when the stereo was only £20! So, this "looks" like what I have on my Landy and stereo - and I can find cheaper examples on ebay, but my question is, are the Goodmans/ Sony stereo "end" of the cable the same? Or will all PC3-433 cables only work with sony stereos?

These can be the same as the connectors on the back are usually off the shelf, however the oin layout would be my concern.

Does it have a pin out diagram on the top of the stereo?

I thought the point of anything 'ISO' was that it is standardised

Whichever monkey ripped the old stereo out scraped the sticker off the stereo and just ripped all the cables straight from the '5.

I could try to wire it all in but I suspect that will be a PITA. Is it a case of just joining the colours up?

Yes. The Brown and Black plugs that come from the cars wiring loom will be the same. BUT where those wires go when they leave the plugs and go to the multiplug that fits into the back of the actual radio is anyones guess.
