Hideous rear lights & bodykit as well. Still it was his car and he's kept one on the road, looks decent value for a 3dr Cosworth, maybe because of that interior.

Dear me - why chav it up so much?!

Too much ICE - i'd rip it all out to loosen the added weight.
Lose those horrid lexus lights too, interior too. Bodykit has to go...

You'd probably end up spending the asking price over again, just to undo all the horrors that have been inflicted on it and get it back to standard condition.

True - probably much easier not to bother buying this particular example. frown

Yep. I'm sure some other, er, "enthusiast" will take it off his hands.

Ford Scorpio and a Mk1 Corsa in the background of the street picture
I'd wonder if the "better" pics were recent. Haven't seen a Scorpio in ages.

From the number of viewings, it looks like the URL is being touted around a fair few forums too. Still, unlike many Cosworths, that one is still more or less in 1 unburnt piece and so still repairable.

A couple of years ago I was coming home from town when a similar 3 door white Cosworth pulled up next to me. Baseball capped teenager driving it, similar in the passenger and rear seats. Thing is though, the car was totally standard, clean standard wheels, no blacked out windows or Lexus lights. He burbled it away at reasonably modest speed too. All I can think is that he was doing a Ferris Bueller and had borrowed his dad's motor. You never know though!

Its a shame but it could be put back to standard quite easily, although for that money no one will ever get the chance-think 4-5 grand chance bargain.

I think the owner has been reading Max Power too much!

It's a 1.6Gl with a poorly fitted body kit and Saphire Cosworth engine and bits. Want to borrow a barge pole?
