I do hope this is the right forum (if not, please move it!) but I am after some advice regarding Trackers.
My partner wants a Subara WRX to ferry our baby about in. We are going to buy one this weekend but some of the ones for sale do not have trackers. Her current insurers, Direct Line, says it MUST have one as a condition of the policy.
I have rang Tracker who say that as I am a previous customer, they will give me the unit free, but I have to pay £99 installation fee and then £135 per annum on top of this initial fee for the subscription.
My question is, does anyone have any experiences of other retro-fit Tracker systems and could you please, if possible, advise me on prices and places to purchase? It seems pointless buying a car that we can't insure.
