What project / toy for my dad?

Budget £1-2k, must be fun interesting and cheap insurance!
He's been looking at MGBs, 944s and now he's started looking at MGFs

I cannot allow him to buy an MGF!
I already expect an MX5 to be recomended...

He's said no to the recommendation of an XJS as he think it'll be expensive as they're mostly V12s.

So PH do what you do best!
