New 911 GT3 RS road test

Lots of Porsche fans in here and quite a few mag readers as well so may be interested to know there's a full road test ( all the acceleration/in-gear figures etc ) in Autocar today. Surprised how heavy it is but I guess that's progress etc. Doesn't seem to affect the times adversely!

0-100 in 8.4 seconds and on to 160 in a further 16.4 seconds....and did 27mpg tootling about, 19mpg average. 1415kg - £114k as tested

Would have thought some switchjable valving for the exhaust would have been a good option if it's in danger of being too loud for track days though
