Met one of my motoring hero's yesterday

[andy665]

Was in Central London and had time to pop into Motor Books just off St. Martins Lane.

Karl Ludvigsen was there signing copies of his new book on Colin Chapman. Had a good long chat with him about the industry and where its going, particularly with regard to alternative fuels / powertrains. With his knowledge of the industry I was surprised that he believes that pure electric is the way forward.

Was great to meet a hero, especially when I was not expecting it

Always good when they're nice to you and not complete egotistical jerks. I'm look at you, Eddie Irvine.
