Hi Chaps,

I wanted to get a valuation on a high mileage e46 beamer that I might be selling.

Is it the done thing to ask on here with the relevent details to get some informed opinion from those closer to the market or is it a 'no-no'?

I obviously won't post details unless it is.

Thanks in advance.

No immediate outcry in the 30 mins I posted so here it is (!)...

If anyone has a glasses valuation for private sale & part ex that would be brilliant...

BMW 325i (M Sport)
2002 on a 51 plate
105k miles
FBMWSH - apart from the last specialist stamp
Full leather / Harman Kardon / Parrot Bluetooth Kit (phone + ipod)
Lots of life left in the tyres / brakes / discs
2 previous owners
Very good condition

I was planning on servicing the car (at a bmw specialist) and putting 12 mths mot on it before sale so the next owner would hopefully have zero expenses for a good year or so.

What do you reckon?

Thanks in advance.

I would normally offer £25 but since your a fellow PHer I'll give you £50 for it.

I'm doubling my offer, so there no way you can refuse, right?

I'll pick it up tomorrow. wink

This seems to be the price range they're going for around me:

If it was me I would probably put it on at about £5k, maybe a bit under.

Thanks Iggletiggle for digging out the numbers twice and Champ54321 for those links - I owe you both a virtual pint !!!

beer

I'll put it up for £5,250 and see how it goes - someone is going to get themselves a stonking car though as it really is in excellent condition and with the service/mot done before sale it shouldn't cost a penny for a year or so!
