For a long time it was a Lambo/Ferrari but the Bentley Continental GT Speed is now my first "lottery win" buy. The perfect combination of luxury & speed....for some reason it seems so much more refined than other cars at that money....

I would spend most of it on fizz bombs and Curly Wurlies.

Well if you do win the lottery there is a very nice one in the showroom in Monaco.

Perfect car to wisk you to the Cafe de Paris for a beer.

'Old Skool' all the way for me I'm afraid. 1972 911 RS Lightweight, would be my first purchase.

I've always wanted a DB6 but completely modernised and keep it looking original.

So a proper modern V12 shoe-horned in, modern suspension, climate control, the works but keep that classic styling.

No matter who you are, you would look the muts nuts.

500k would be the price tag I reckon.

I do wonder about these threads, you do know you are never going to win?

The Continental does absolutely nothing for me. Never has done.

For me it's cable throttle, no servo brakes, light weight, comfort and big power. I'd also like to have the central driving position and right hand gearshift of my race car. Shame I can't afford a Mclaren F1!!

Someone has to.

Sadly, to me, the Bentley is a Footballer's car.

First Lottery win car? I think it would be a DB7. The next couple however would take a bit more time.

I would be straight into this and off to spend the whole summer driving around Europe and sampling nice roads and hotels.

The CGT Speed is pretty awesome.

We got lent one by Bentley Manchester for a couple of days when it first came out, it feels a lot quicker than the standard one. There are few other cars that can carry 4 people in such speed and comfort. The rear seats are surprisingly usable and it's a great place to be in traffic.

It still wouldn't me my ultimate car though, that recently became the 599 GTO!

There is an amazing quote about a Bentley GTC in Alex Roy's DRIVER book.

I think it was about the noise when one passed him on an Autobahn at 180mph+. Completely switched me onto them from loathing them with a passion.

With the book to hand I could give a better impression but alas, I do not.

Don't be too harsh on the OP. We're not all into performance cars. I can understand why people love luxury cars; I'd love a ride in something like the Bentley, although personally I'd rather have an F1, Zonda etc! :-) just my tastes though.
