In the Mirror today:

Risky

1 Clark
2 Allen
3 Lewis
4 Green
5 Watson
6 Stewart
7 Jackson
8 Baker
9 Cooper
10 Mitchell

So how many think they are are a racing driver?

Edit to add:
Sorry, I should have said, this is according to Insurance co. elephant.co.uk, the Mirror were only reporting it, not claiming it!

I'm assuming that they've weighted the results according to how common the name is? Surely. Otherwise that'd just be lazy journalism.

In the Mirror. Enough said.

Utter garbage to fill pages.

Now that's one hell of a claim.

You can guarantee that's just the number of names, rather than the number of claims as a percentage of the number of people with that name. And thereby making it pretty meaningless.

FACT: If your car has 4 wheels, you are more likely to have an accident than if your car has 5 wheels.

If they didn't then the Smiths and Joneses are doing well!

Presumably most of the accidents are caused by other people trying to keep up with the Jones' hence their ommission.

Well I could tell you that from the names. There's not a Shaikh, Siddiqui, Abbasi, Syed, Bukhari, Zaidi, Naqvi, Farooqi, Osmani, Alavi, Hassani, or Hussaini among them!

No I'm not being serious I'm just promoting a stereotype for a cheap joke.
