I went to visit a friend in Langley/Slough at the weekend and he showed me one particular house that often has tasty cars (Rollers and Bentleys) outside. On that day they had a Phantom with the plate 90 H parked a few houses down, with a couple of other cars parked on the drive.

The weird thing is the house is small and the people hanging around are young asians. The last time I drove past there were a few of them sitting outside in an M6 with a plate of something like 86 A.

Seems they are well known in the area and are apparently sitting out in the cars even at 4am etc!

Anyone seen these guys before or know what they're up to?

Mobile pic taken as shown above. They had a white Phantom a couple of weeks ago!

purveyors of Peruvian marching powder, I'd imagine.

Or as you're stalking them you could just go and ask.

Some folk of an Indian background prefer to spend more of their money on cars than on houses. 'Tis quite common, but not always to this extent.

There are areas of Leicester for example where you will see C.£60-£80k German executive cars parked outside terraced houses.

Perhaps they own a successful rental car company. They then have the benefits of bringing the stock back home.

There was a PHer who was supposed to be getting his second "Kahn'ed" Phantom and he is only 22.

Maybe their friends or family have a chauffeuring business & uses the cars on the sly?

Im sure someone can post a link to the article but basically his brother has been reported on the internet as somebody accused of being a criminal overlord on the strength of a massive amount of guesswork. He is of course innocent until proven guilty.
EFA wink

I know its rare, but I do know of a very sucessful young Asian chap who has some sensational cars (mainly rare/classics) and many of them have an H plate. I dont think he has a Phantom though.

The point being, its far more interesting to speculate that wrongdoing is paying for these cars rather than some very clever, very smart working.

I think the interest/confusion lies in the cars appearing to be worth more than several of the houses they are parked outside put together. Possibly even worth more than the whole street. Would you park your car in such a location??

PistonHeads - exaggeration matters... scratchchin

I'm not even going to start about the fact that you're implying that low value houses = thieves.

Just re-read the OP. The white Phantom would imply it belongs to a poster in the RR & Bentley area of Pistoinheads. Not many people have 2 Phantoms at 22.

Really? What areas of Leicester are they?

None of the indians I know or am related to have cars worth more than their houses....
