........what would you get? A big accident I know! But seriously if you had an S8 and a targa 4s what would replace them, as in just one car?? I'm thinking maybe the RS5 due later this year?

Fuel consumption not really an issue, despite pump prices, am actually getting better consumption from S8 because I use it as a daily commuter so it just sits at 80 leptons on the M-way whereas T4S is used for back lane blasting as well as a bit of commuting.

Need the ability to carry a bit of luggage and be comfortable for both a daily driver and going on holiday as well as fun, would prefer to stick with some form of four wheel drive for the nasty months (daily commute is c.100 mile round trip so ability to travel when the weather's poo is fairly vital)....budget is pretty open....any ideas? smile

Or would you just stick with what I've got?

Nothing. They both do very different things. You would need to accept serious compromises.

On the road and in dark colours, I think the Panamera isnt that bad looking, yes the Austrian Martin 4 door is better, but it's almost double the price!

Having driven a Panamera turbo a couple of weeks ago, can't fault the way it drives at all smile

I've never driven one but I can only imagine you're right from the press coverage that they have got. And of course the bonus is that when you're inside you can't see the outside. Just don't drive past any reflective surfaces. biggrin

Maserati Granturismo S Auto is one option - certainly big enough to take luggage and people, plus it makes a dreamy noise and it a hoot to hustle.

Plus, just look at it...

Its gorgeous from some angles, but my eyes keep getting drawn to the wheel arches. Everywhere else on the car, curves, gorgeous voluptuous curves. But they totally gave up when it came to the wheel arches, which are bland, unimaginitive, and have had the same treatment as virtually every other car on the road from Kia up.

I saw one of these on the road the other day and was frankly underwhelmed, not that I get the love in that people seem to have for all the lastest Maerati's, I don't personally like any of them. Although would buy a '4door' just because it is rare and not a Merc or M5
