Afternoon All,

Short story, passed my driving test last week (already have a full bike license).
& would like to buy a cheap car as a run around, shopping / when the weathers ste etc.
Where's the best place to buy a cheap car too, i know it's going to be a bit of a shed.
Long Tax & MOT would be a bonus but as i'm not technically minded, or flush with cash anything that needs work doing is a big no.
I've looked on autotarder but there does'nt seem to be much cheap stuff on there, all the half decent cheap stuff on PH classifieds is sold & Ebay is just far too expensive nowadays.
Cheap is talking below £500.

Any good websites etc i could look at?

Ka!

You don't necessarily need to disregard eBay, you can still get some good sheds for £500 - that's where I got my comfy Mondeo barge from smile

If you don't know about cars take someone with you who does to do the basic checks. While you can't expect too much for £500, you can avoid the poglers that will be nothing but unreliable.

The £500 snotters section is littered with dogs on their last legs, cars with big bills looming and indeed cars ready for the crusher.

While the Ka is a good suggestion, unfortunately any that are £500 or less will be full of rust. I would recommend a Micra, they are meant to be very reliable.
