I think my fastback is going to be dark red when sprayed but the choice is overwhelming ...

Yes it will be metallic - not necessarily a Pearl though ...

I don't want a burgundy.

Mercedes have a nice few ...

Carneol Red ... maybe a bit TOO burgundy though

Titanite Red ... maybe a bit TOO bright

MINI Nightfire Red ... a bit uninspiring though when seen in the flesh

THIS IS BURGUNDY (and not what I want to gove you a clue)

This is a bit more like it ... Arena Red Porsche

Any more out there from any other manufacturers?

OP - you need to get yourself a RAL chart, looking at images on a screen probably isn't the best way to go about selecting a colour

RAL chart?

I've got a few swatch books from the sprayers but the choice is well too big.

Trying to narrow it down to see a few in the flesh. Mini dealer is a mile from me - went up there - Nightfire Red - well, uninspiring as I said.

Phoned local Merc dealer - do you have a Carneol Red car amongst the 156 you have in stock.

"No"

"Thanks then"

The Lotus one is nice though - the Jag red, well, too much in your face (from that pic) I know lighting etc have a lot to do with it - I won't choose one FROM THE INTERNET ONLY, just need a few more possibles to narrow the field down a bit

Gorgeous dark red- looks amazing in the sun. But I suspect the paint will be a bit pricey...

Actually, having seen what kind of Fastback you have, there must be plenty of delicious candy apple and metalflake reds available, surely?

You can have any Alfa sprayed that colour but its something like a £3000 option.

At the motorshow a while back they had all the cars on the stand sprayed the same colour.
