detailed wiring diagram for a 1996 318iS

does anyone know where i could find a detailed wiring diagram for the instrument cluster for a 1996 318iS
im having a little bother with some of the dashboard light and i need to work out whats what
i do have a haynes manual but its not any use at all

Can you expand a little on what the problem is? Warning lights not on?

the seat belt warning light and the low brake pad warning light have been flashing on and off randomly when i have ben driving the car
i have checked the brake pads and they are fine and i have checked the wiring going to the brake pad sensor which is also fine so im just trying to suss out what wire is what going into the back of the instrument cluster

the seat belt warning light isn't connected to anything outside the cluster, it just stays on for a few seconds regardless of anything you do.

I had a pad sensor that did that - are you sure they're both clipped in firmly? Maybe worth getting a new one and trying it on the front ( and then the back if it doesn't clear ).
