Went out for a spin in the Roaster tonight and while waiting at the roundabout this mint looking GTV comes around followed by a massive smile and outstretched thumbs up from the driver! Very nice feeling and I had a proper grin the rest of the way back home.

I mean the car is looking great but I didn't expect that!

Anyone else had any appreciation from other drivers with different cars?

I don't see many PH'ers stickered up but I've got mine on the rear so maybe they see my and not the other way around. I'll have to come along to a breakfast club meeting one day.

If it'll help your own shuffle session, you can picture that if you like. Each to their own.

Yeah it's a nice car The v5 but it's too wallowy, needs sports suspension to make it the car it should be.

Surprising amount of Evolutions do a cheeky side-by-side (okay, not so surprising), but whoever ends up behind flashes and when we pull next to each other we both have massive grins and big thumbs ups. Evos tend to wave at me surprisingly commonly for the rival motor.

Also get plenty of nods from bikers - no idea why, but hey, all good blokes so happily acknowledged.

Even got a wave from the ANPR Scooby once, very happy!

Car's a 2005 Impreza STi.

An enjoyable drive through North Wales along the A484/A470 (I think) followed by a Bike with Pillion passenger, I got a thumbs up from the rider and passenger when I slowed down, indicated and let them past. This was after about 10 miles of twisty-ish roads.

They also waved when I passed in the next village where they had stopped a few miles further on.

Very nice. Made me smile! - While not being stupid, I wasn't going slow, maybe they didn't expect it from a Jag. hehe

A wave from other mx-5 drivers is also always nice. smile

Hmm.

When trying to be acerbic and witty it helps to spell the key words correctly.

Otherwise you look a bit of a fanny.

I passed a very game looking German reg Raspberry Red 996(?) on the M25 a while ago, for the first time I did slow down and give a thumbs up. Nice car.
